Activities of the Society:
- Organization of the Congresses/Conferences/ Symposia and other formats of the Conference Events and visits of colleagues from abroad
- Improvement and development of professional and scientific research work in all branches of microbiology
- Continuous professional development and encouragement of the staff exchange
- Providing opinions and suggestions to the policy makers in cases of adopting legislation on issues related to microbiology and food safety
- Cooperation with the international associations and organizations of microbiologists
- Taking into consideration the strategic and organizational problems in the field of microbiology
- Helping to improve teaching in various fields of microbiology at the Universities and other institutions in terms of experts’ professional development and improvement in appropriate fields
- Cooperation with other professional and scientific societies (medical societies, veterinary societies, biological societies, ecological societies, etc.)
- Revival of the journal “Microbiology”
